Writer: Dr. Marubian AffiniiDr. Marubian Affinii

Deadline: August 1, 2023

Outschool.org invites applications for its 2023-2024 Community Partner Grant, sponsored by Walton Family Foundation.

Through the grant program, Outschool.org seeks at least eight organizations aiming to close academic achievement and/or enrichment gaps for BIPOC and economically marginalized learners. Community partners will co-design programming to expand enriching educational opportunities for their learners, either direct-to-family funding and navigation support, high-dosage tutoring, and/or enrichment classes they could not provide otherwise. The grant will include training and support valued at over $85,000 for one to two years for each selected organization. Additionally, Outschool.org will offer free and discounted, high-quality supplemental and enrichment resources to support learners. For community partners without direct-to-family public funds (e.g., ESAs, microgrants, and tax credit programs) or school or district funds (Title I, Title II, or ESSER), Outschool.org will provide $500 per learner to support their programming efforts.

Interested applicants are invited to complete this interest form to receive updates from the Outschool.org team. There is a priority deadline of July 18, 2023, and all applicants who submit by this date will receive feedback from the Outschool.org team. The final deadline is August 1, 2023.

For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Outschool.org website.
