Leadership Development Training
Leadership training, and developmental skills allow children to have control of their lives and the ability to make things happen. Leadership instills confidence, and helps children solve problems creatively, work in a team, and work collaboratively with others. Leadership gives children many opportunities to develop responsibility.

Young Advocates
A youth advocate is a person who acts in the best interests of the youth that they are working with. The overall purpose of a youth advocate is to ensure that youth maintain their human rights while aiding in skill development in all areas of life such as education, health, housing, employment, relationships, etc.

Young Entrepreneurs
At age 15, Hillary Yip is the youngest CEO in the world. She founded and runs Minor Mynas, an online education platform for children. She began her journey into entrepreneurship at age 10, dabbling in the tech sector, and now sits at the table with some of the world's most renowned tech geniuses.

Peer Support Groups
MC6 one-on-one peer support provides young adults with help, advice, guidance, and support from someone who has been where they are. Our Youth Peer Support Specialists (YPSS) have lived experience in youth-serving systems (Mental Health, Foster Care, Juvenile Justice, etc.) and have been trained to support transition-aged young adults.
The MC6 model is different from the traditional youth and young adult-service models in that it uses support via lived experience rather than impersonal, clinical expertise. YPSS listens, helps identify strengths and needs, identifies supports, suggests resources, and helps formulate the next steps.

School Liaison Program
The Military Children's Six Foundation school liaison program typically assists with transitions associated with military life and facilitates communication among schools, parents, and installation commands. We educate local schools on the challenges faced by military-connected students and work to connect military families with community and education resources. MC6 School Liaisons advocate on behalf of their families to school and district administrators. We also educate commanders or stakeholders on issues and sometimes act on issues that need elevating to the school board level.
